My husband is begging me to come back after I almost died because of him while my dad & mom are fighting over it

As a young lady I met my husband who is an engineer as a quiet person. After we did traditional wedding and had a boy, he started changing & showing his true colors. Always complaining of things he didn't complain about before we had a child. Most things irritates him & sometimes he'll slap & hit me. My mom kept telling me to keep enduring but I didn't tell my dad about it at first. My mom and dad separated already so she does not want me to have a broken home. After our baby boy clocked 2 years, he brought home a woman who was his ex girlfriend before I met him. He said he impregnated her & wanted to marry her as second wife. I told him that as a monogamous christian, I will never accept polygamy. I told him to get another place for his pregnant girlfriend and he insisted that it's his house and he can bring who ever he wants to. The house that my husband built has 3 rooms, my husband sleeps in one, I have one to myself & he gave the remaining one to his girlfriend. My mom still told me to keep enduring even when the beating continues. When my dad heard about it, he told me that I should run away from him that my husband does not deserve me but I listened to my mom instead.
I started keeping to myself and my kids, I ignored the gf & I don't communicate with his girlfriend at all. My husband will beat me & still have sex with me and still insult me. Then, I got pregnant 3 different times and had miscarriages on all. The girlfriend gave birth to a girl & got pregnant again and again and she has 3 girls for my husband. But me, I only have one boy child. My husband do beat his girlfriend too but she still gives birth. Also, my husband refused to do a wedding with her and kept saying he'll do the wedding when he feels like it. I still kept to myself. The girlfriend tried to be friends with me but I stood my ground and ignored her for years.
There was a day he came back angry from work, I greeted him & I quickly went into my room and stayed there. All of a sudden, he stormed into the room and started shouting & complaining because I rushed inside after greeting him. I didn't say anything. Next thing was a big slap on my cheek. He kept saying I've turned him to radio that will just keep talking without getting response. I tried to leave the room and he pulled me back & I fainted. My boy was there too, and my boy rushed to the neighbors that they should come and look at me on the floor. I was rushed to the hospital by the neighbors and they didn't see my husband when they came in.
The news spread to my dad at work when people told him that he is here and his daughter is about to die. My dad & mom rushed down to the hospital. The police also arrested my husband. After I recovered, my dad insisted that I will not go back to the husband's house. Our neighbors supported it too. They also went to the house and packed all my things & that of my son to my father's house.
My father wanted to press charges but people kept saying because we already have a child, they should let him go. My husband's family & other people came to beg us and we didn't press charges and they let him go.
After a week of me and my son living with my dad, my dad planned to return back the bride price that he paid & also open a medicine store for me because I did patent medicine training.
My husband has started calling me to beg me that he has changed. He also went to beg my mom.
My mom is now telling me to forgive & move back to my husband's house because she does not want me to have a broken home like her & my dad. My dad insists that I should not go back but my mom is telling me otherwise. Before I married him I used to look healthy, light in complexion and beautiful but after the wedding & all the suffering, I started looking malnourished, tiny, unhealthy, pale & ugly.
Also, after I left, the girlfriend had an accident & she lost all her three girls. She's currently childless.
My mom and my dad currently have heated argument/clash over me because my mom is insisting I go back but my dad is insisting I don't go back.
